Paddle & Portage Canoes is proud to be Australia’s only importer of Wenonah Canoes, Current Designs Kayaks, and Key Logs from Key Log Rolling from the USA and now Silverbirch Canoes and Tootega Kayaks from the UK! Our growing company is the realisation of a dream by its founder – Travis Frenay. He started paddling at a very young age and began his professional career in Outdoor Education in 2001 in his native USA. Since migrating to Australia in 2004 he has worked continuously in the Outdoor Education and training industry and is a professional paddling instructor. After 7 years of living in Australia and missing beautiful canoes he finally decided to try bringing some into Australia to see how they’d go. That was 2011 and, over the last 9 years, we’ve had the pleasure of introducing thousands of Australians to these fine brands.
